General

  • Where are you based?

    I am based just outside of Cockermouth, on the edge of the beautiful  Cumbrian Lake District. 

  • How do we book you for our Wedding?

    Just drop me a quick message via my CONTACT page and I'll be sure to get right back to you! 

  • What if you haven't photographed at our venue before?

    If your venue is one I've yet to explore, as a professional photographer, I like to arrive a bit earlier than expected (or visit before hand distance permitting) so as to scope out the area for the best backdrops and interesting spaces in which to take your special coupley and family group pictures.


    I also find it really helpful to meet the venue owners / wedding coordinators ahead of the event, so as we can all work together harmoeously to give you the best possible experience. 

  • Will we receive a mix of colour and B&W images?

    In short, the answer is yes! 


    I tend to take thousands of photographs on the day! Once I've meticulously shifted through these to choose the best to professionally edit; giving them a beautiful natural light and airy feel; I then go back through the edited images, using my professional judgement to select a number that I feel will also look stunning in black & white. 

  • Are you insured?

    I am indeed! I have Public Liaibility Insurance as well as insuring my equipment. 

  • Do you travel abroad?

    Anyone who knows me knows I absolutley love to travel! Having shot weddings in beautiful Greece previously, I would love nothing more than to follow you to your destination wedding, wherever that may be!

Payment

  • Are there any travel costs?

    I'm happy to include anywhere within around two hours travel time away from my base in Cockermouth free of charge; anything further afield will incur the cost of travel. 

  • What payment method do you accept?

    I accept payment by online bank transfer - I share these details at the point of booking. 

  • Do you require a deposit to hold our date?

    I ask for a deposit of £250 to secure your date. 


    This is non-refundable and acts as protection against loss of work for myself. 

  • Can we buy an Album from you?

    Absolutely, yes! 


    I work with a Yorkshire based professional printing company called Folio Albums to create stunning Fine Art Books and Matted Albums, amongst other artwork.

For me, being asked to capture your Wedding Day and preserve those precious memories forever is such a massive honour; and I appreciate how tricky choosing the right photographer can be. There needs to be a level of understanding and trust, after all while most of the services / vendors who play a part in making your wedding day amazing come and go throughout the day, your photographer is present throughout. I pride myself on building a really positive relationship with my clients - enabling me to capture their special day in a way that truly reflects who they are.
